How to get to the Greenbank
The Greenbank is situated on BELLEVUE ROAD in the EASTON area of Bristol.
The pub marks the beginning of the area locally called Greenbank.
By Car from the M32 - exit at Junction 2 (Muller Road Junction near Tesco's), taking the road by the side of the park, up to the Shell garage; turn right there. Down to the traffic lights at Eastville Junction. Left at lights. The road bears left past Kebele(colourful anarchist cafe on the corner); take right turn after that. This is Bellevue Road and the Greenbank is about 300 metres along. Parking probably easiest in adjacent side streets. Please don't park on the pavements.
By Bike -From the Bristol-Bath cyclepath.Take turn off afterDevon Road bridge(left if coming from town), left at top of slope, then right into Gratitude Road, cross over Co-operation Road and up to big red and yellow brick church (the Lego church). Turn left, this is Greenbank Road and the Greenbank is at the bottom
Or from Stapleton Road/Fishponds Road and follow car directions from Eastville Junction.
Bike Parking - You can bring your bike through the pub and park out the back (this may be impractical during busy times).
By Train - The Greenbank is about ten minutes walk from Stapleton Road station on the Severn Beach line.
Last train to Temple Meads - 2238 Mon -Fri (connects to Bath train); 2336 Sat (last Bath/London connection 2206)
Last train to Severn Beach (stopping at Montpelier, Redland, Clifton Down, Sea Mills, Shirehampton, Avonmouth) - 2140 Mon-Fri; 2237 Sat
Note: Stapleton Road station is big and lonely at night. There have been attacks there. Group travel is probably safer late at night.
By Bus - There are buses that stop nearly directly outside the Greenbank, but these stop running at about 7pm. Best bet is to get a bus to Stapleton Road (public transport), get off at the stop after the railway bridge and walk up following the directions for cars from Eastville Junction. Ask for Easton Job Centre.
