Money-go-Round Credit Union

Credit Unions are like "people's banks", run on a not-for-profit basis to serve people not big institutions. The local union for Inner city Bristol is Money-Go-Round, which has been around for some years now and is getting better all the time.

For more details, call them on 954 35 85 between 9:30 and 3:30 Mon-Fri, or call into the office (part of the Sofa building, West Street, Old Market) on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 10am till 2:30pm.

Also there is a local collection point at Castle Green UR church (corner of Kingsley and Greenbank Road) every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month between 11am and 12 noon.

Easton Residents Network

What is Easton Residents Network? Easton Residents Network was started by people just like you who live in the Easton and Lawrence Hill area of Bristol. We work to help give you a voice on community issues and to promote Easton as a positive and active community in which to live and work.

The membership and committtee is made up of residents and only residents who live in the area. We have one paid member of staff based in our office, which is open Monday - Friday from 9.00am till 4.30pm (closed 1.00pm to 1.30pm for lunch), apart from attendance at external meetings. You are welcome to pop in or just give us a call on 952 5383.

We are funded by Neighbourhood Renewal Easton & Lawrence Hill until March 2006. Neighbourhood Renewal is a government funded programme set up to help regenerate neighbourhoods with high levels of deprivation. Since 2002, the Easton & Lawrence Hill Neighbourhood Renewal Team have funded over 65 projects in the area. Easton and Lawrence Hill Neighbourhood Renewal

Neighbourhood Renewal is a government funded programme set up to help narrow the gap between deprived neighbourhoods and the rest of the country.
